The discoveries are presented in chronological order. The year is stated, the site and the person making the discovery and the museum where the treasure is now displayed are clearly set out. The pictures are excellent
Reeves has also usefully reproduced extracts from books and reports made by the archaeologists which give a sense of the excitement of the discovery. This is a gem of a book.
