This 2019 book on the Egyptian revolution of 2011 does not pretend to be objective. It takes a polemical approach . The author supports his view with facts.
The author has covered the ground well. We have with us a substantial review of the events post the revolution till the coup by Sisi. However, readers looking for a book that gives both points of view will be disappointed.
This book does not analysed why Egyptians supported the coup by Sisi and why the Egyptian army remained a cohesive force to suppress the Muslim Brotherhood.
