This is an illustrated edition published for the 70th anniversary of D-day. Its strengths are that it contains the entire text of the original book, 120 photographs, a cd of Ryan’s interviews with Ike, Monty, Churchill etc and copies of letters, notes etc made by the Allied and German soldiers who took part in D Day. The photos are clear. The font is big. It is a joy to read.
