I bought this book in 1997. This book takes you to various historical sites and monuments around the world. Each site has a summary of the significance of the site or monument. The photos are in colour. The computer reproductions of the original monuments give us an idea of their original state.
This is a book for archaeology lovers. The chapter on The Ice Man is excellent.
