This is a slim book on Michelangelo and his painting of the Sistine Chapel. I find this book interesting for personal observations, albeit brief, by the author. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a brief introduction to this area. But if you are looking for a book that gives a fuller picture, I can recommend no further than the excellent book by Ross King titled Michelangelo and the Pope’s Ceiling.
