This would have been a better book if a newer edition and an updated introduction are published taking into account the fresh evidence in the excellent book by Caroline Alexander titled The Bounty: The True Story of the Mutiny on the Bounty published in 2003.
In this 2001 edition, we have the full text of Bligh’s Narrative of the Mutiny, the minutes of the court-martial, the published exchanges between Bligh and Edward Christian (the brother of Fletcher Christian the leader of the mutineers) and other relevant accounts on the Mutiny.
