This is not a book on the attack on Pearl Harbour. Rather it examines Americans’ responsibility for the successful attack by the Japanese. It examines in great detail responsibility at all levels from FDR to Congress to the Secretaries of State to the admirals and commanders. The amount of research done is tremendous and the authors must be commended for their effort.
I am giving this book 5 star but readers who are looking for the events which led to the attack and the story in chronological order is advised that this is not the focus of this book.
