A visit to Naples is not complete if one does not see Caravaggio’s The Seven Acts of Mercy {painted in 1606/07} and The Martyrdom of St Ursula {painted 1610}.

Likewise, a visit to Malta is not whole without seeing The Beheading of John the Baptist {painted 1607/ 08}.
