Not up to the usual high standards of an Agatha Christie movie or a TV series, I am afraid.
The movie is touted as a romance adventure in Iraq. The setting, Iraq of the 1930s and not the present ravaged by a war started by the Americans, is glamorous. Unfortunately, the cinematography seems cheap and the feeling of romance of the 1930s Middle East is sadly lacking. The plot is contrived. Strictly for die – hard fans.
Viewers may be better served by the book ” Come, tell me how you live” by Christie of her time in Iraq in the 1930s.
