This 16-CD set is a gem. Buy it if it’s available for about 28 pounds.
This set is based on the 1st volume of Jan Morris’s masterly history of the Victorian era. It takes us from 1837 to 1897. Those of us who are familiar with this era will delight in hearing this tale.
Roy McMillan reads very well. His diction is superb.
