Bought in 2009 from Popular Gurney Paragon, Penang this is a diary of the first 8 years of Amar Singh’s diary.
Covering the years 1897 to 1905 it is only a small part of the 44 years of his diary which he wrote from age 20 to his death in 1942.
This is a diary not written with a view to publication. It gives us a view of the British Raj by one of its elite subjects, a Rajput Prince.
