There are 2 famous voyages of discovery in history.
They are the Lewis and Clark’s Corp of Discovery across the American West [ 1804- 1806] and Captain Cook’s three sea voyages to the South Pacific (1768- 1775).
Both encountered strange lands and foreign culture. Both came back with artefacts native to those foreign lands.
These two excellent books are coffee table books on these artefacts. Highly recommended.
