Temple of Heaven in Peking – Part 1

Most people, when visiting Peking, mistake an exquisite building with a pointed roof on top of three levels of blue-glazed tiles, built on a three-level marble terrace, as The Temple of Heaven.

This, to me, one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, is actually The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests [Qiniandian].

The Temple of Heaven is the name for the whole complex of 675 acres.

It is situated in the Eastern Chinese City.
