If you have seen the Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwe side, which we did in the year 2000, you will not find the Hukou Waterfall magnificent.
Hukou Waterfall is located on the Yellow River, where it reaches somewhere between Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces, called the Shanxi-Shaanxi Gorge.
Due to an obstructed flow from 300 m to 50 m, it resulted in a strong rush of water [called a waterfall on the internet] dropping for 30 m, which has attracted many visitors over the years.
Why do I say Victoria Falls is more magnificent?
It is because the falls cascade down from a much higher level and over a very broad area.
One can literally walk on the opposite side of the river and feel the water’s moisture.
