I have read two biographies of the Prophet Muhammad over the years.
For Ramadan 2026, I am reading two recently published biographies.
Muhammad and the Empires of Faith by Sean W. Anthony, 2020, is the more scholarly of the two.
Muhammad: The World Changer, an intimate portrait by Mohamad Jebara, takes a conversational approach.
Jebara said he wrote his book from memory, and only after completion did he consult the sources that he had previously memorised. (P 319 Hardcopy)
He further said he had memorised the Koran at age 12 and mastered the Arabic language and grammar by age 15. (P 7).
