By Anne Salmond

Anne Salmond is a New Zealander. She is a specialist in the history of South Seas and the cultural interactions between the Europeans and the Maori in the 18th to early 19th centuries. She was conferred a Damehood by Queen Elizabeth for her writings and cultural contributions.

Her books are very thorough and deeply researched. It is a pity most of her books are now out of print. Here are three in my library.
