This is a value for money book on 50 famous Chinese paintings. Arranged chronologically one can see the evolution of Chinese paintings through the dynasties. Each painting also has a short bio on the painter. The text is short but useful.
The downside is the paintings are rather small and some of the paintings are not clear to the naked eye.
