Rereading this book I bought on Easter day, 2014 from Kinokuniya KLCC I find I have highlighted in yellow this lesson from the Parable of the Pounds.
I can’t recall why I chose this from the 10 ethical and theological messages contained in the Parable.
It is good to highlight the passage of a book you like or have inspired you. Some don’t.
When a later generation reads a clean book, it is as good as buying a new one from a bookstore.
It has no value imparted by the owner of that book.
Jesus Through Middle Eastern Eyes by Kenneth E Bailey, 2008 published, looks at Jesus not through the normal Western eyes, which we now know have cultural and ethical bias.
