The Datai has a wonderful fine sand beach.
The Datai beach is much better than the Emerald Bay at Pangkor Laut Resort. It has more beach sofas. The beach is about 2km is longer.
Our beach sofas are a mere 30 feet away from the lapping waves of the Andaman Sea. Shangri-La Rasa Sayang’s beach pales in comparison.
An elixir cocktail of fruit juices completes a delightful sundowner.
Unfortunately, you can’t see the sunset here. For this you need to go to Pantai Cenang, 40 minute drive away.
